The Bandit camera embeds GPS motion sensors looking and mark the best moments depending on the speed videos, altitude and acceleration, but it is also possible to select these times by hand. Another advantage of this device capable of shooting with Ultra HD definition, function “shake” (“shock”): shaking the camera, we get rid of superfluous text to keep only those been marked.

“We know the frustration of people who own a camera action now is the time and effort required for installation, Corinne Vigreux explained, co-founder of TomTom Consumer. With TomTom Bandit we have reduced the assembly time from hours to minutes – and all thanks to some jerks! “ In addition, by purchasing a simple accessory to attach to the lens, the camera becomes waterproof and can be submerged up to 50 m without investing in a dedicated housing.

The manufacturer cautions that this camera is also equipped with a wide angle and a long battery life. It will be on sale during May in some retailers and the TomTom website for the tidy sum of 429 euros. A premium package will also be offered during June including accessories that will also be sold separately, says the company.
