On Friday morning, Paul Le Bihan, mayor of Lannion, attended the presentation of this new public portal cemetery in local 3D Western society.

Find a grave in a cemetery where you never set foot? It can be complicated … The city of Lannion has just put online a public cemetery portal which should solve this problem.

The city of Lannion has just put online on its website, a public portal cemetery. All information on the six cemeteries in Lannion are now accessible at any time. This is the West 3D company (see below) which is responsible for carrying out this interface. In 2005, she had already completed the computerization of Lannion six cemeteries. “When they compute a community cemetery on the software, one passes the paper and Excel table to a tool that will allow Mr. Smith to search without leaving workbooks. For the software to the cemetery, we are focused on legislation. The setting is fixed. It manages a cemetery in the same way from one end of France to the other, “says Valérie Gérard, commercial director at West 3D. This software is built around an interactive map always updated.

Search deceased

Today is the mainstream party facelift. This interface is available under city hall, civil status and mapping cemeteries website Lannion. How many concessions are hosted within six cemeteries? The answer is found on the first page of this portal. They are 8,000 in total. “You can through our site, search for the deceased or a concession, view and print a detailed map of the cemetery. The rates are also available as well as some story lines on the cemeteries of Lannion. ” A regulatory tab reminds the internal rules at the cemetery. A descriptive page is dedicated to each cemetery Town: photos, historical information … There is a link to see how to get there, though some families do not know the area. “Before, there was access only on maps. Part information was not made. ”

A scalable interface

All Are mayors interested in the consumer portal? “It depends on the size of municipalities. Some small communities do not have a website. From the moment one has a website, you want as a community to communicate what we do and the service rendered to the population. Having this type of tool will help promote the work of the agents and the investments that are made within the community, “3D meets West Commercial Director. A total of 261 of its 1,000 customers have chosen the cemetery software. The tool is scalable. It could very well have a topic to see the graves whose leases expire in the year. Elected officials have ruled out that possibility. “It is part of the setting that is at the choice of the community. The idea is to be able to fit in all our software to the decisions that are popular with politicians. ‘ Lannion The software will soon welcome a new category: the famous personalities buried in the town.

In addition to

3D west. Serving local communities

What is the common point between the camping Lannion and Cuzieu school canteen in the Loire? It’s 3D West. This company specializes in business software, which is based in the space of Broglie to Pegasus, has equipped these two software communities to manage their equipment. The priority will be given to local authorities. It offers them software to manage marinas, canteens, reporting of dangerous dogs, pet pensions … Which has attracted the most? This is the canteen software with 303 clients before the one for the cemetery (261 customers). In total, it has 1,000 customers in every corner of France and in overseas territories.

3D scanners Design

Created in 2003 at the Technopark Anticipa 3D West currently has 20 employees in its ranks, including 17 in Lannion. She made four hires since the beginning of the year. The design and marketing of software for local authorities is not his only activity. It also conducts “research and development services in the fields of electronics, the design of 3D scanners, 2D Vision / 3D and image processing.” Today, 3D West goes through a phase of consolidation of the software: “We will not go into new trades. We must consolidate what we did. It was this work rewriting two versions of software that is running. It was a lot of stress on children and the tourist tax. I do not think we will create a new software on a new trade. An extensive range we already have. To properly respond to a need, we must know who is behind the trade. It is an everyday tool that will be used by agents. He must know how they operate. It is in a consolidation phase rather than creating new software, “says Valérie Gérard, commercial director.

Yes to transfer the music school

On 29 September, the Community Council approved the transfer at 1 January 2016, the competence of music education and structures that ensure this teaching, especially the School of Music of Treg (EMT) in Lannion-Trégor Community. Financial terms arising from this transfer were also announced (The Telegram 1 October). Based on the annual cost of the School of Music of Treg, the funding would be distributed on all municipalities, all benefiting the future of this service. The contribution takes into account the distance from Lannion and Perros-Guirec, where are the classrooms (€ 1 per capita for the most remote towns, € 2 for closer). The three pillars of the EMT, Lannion, Perros-Guirec and Saint-Quay-Perros remain the biggest contributors, although they pay slightly less than today. Lannion, this would amount to € 480,978 from a total of € 694,650 (against € 525,578 in 2014). A clause provides for the possibility of reviewing the financial conditions after three years, a way to adapt for example to “a very very significant erosion” of the workforce, according to Paul Le Bihan. Knowing that the community obviously wants to expand “access to music education in the territory” and increase the number of students.
