A new spyware NSA revealed – The World

The revelations come after the discovery by Kaspersky Lab, a developer of computer security software based in Moscow, the presence of spy programs groups on computers in several countries.

A THIRTY COUNTRIES CONCERNED

Kaspersky, which has uncovered a series of western espionage operations, specifies that personal computers infected with one or more spying programs were identified in thirty countries. The most affected country is Iran followed by Russia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, China, Mali, Syria, Yemen and Algeria.

Espionage would target military and governmental institutions, telecommunications companies, banks, energy sector companies, nuclear researchers, media and Islamist activities, Kaspersky added.

The Moscow company does not provide the name of the country behind the espionage campaign but said it was closely related to Stuxnet virus, cyber weapon used to attack Iranian nuclear facilities.
