Fundraising by the French software publishers progressing. A trend confirmed by the figures of the third barometer on the subject has just been published jointly by the French Publishers Association of Internet software and solutions (AFDEL) and KPMG.

Between July 2014 and June 2015, a record of almost 340 million euros was lifted on 72 operations, against 220 million euros in 55 transactions between July 2013 and June 2015. In one year, the amount of fundraising increased by 55% and the number of operations of 31%. The average ticket per transaction reached 4.7 million euros, against 4,000,000 in the previous edition.

BlaBlaCar, bigger lifting 73 million
Small operations of less than 5 million euros dominate 82%. Only seven operations exceed 10 million euros for a total of 188 million euros. That of BlaBlaCar, carpooling platform, is the largest in 73 million. The other six relate Avanquest (office software public, 30 million euros), Actility (Internet of Things, 22 million euros), Kyriba (cash management, 20 million euros), Algolia (Search Engine cloud, 16 million euros), Omen (reputation management solution, EUR 15 million) and Teads (video advertising, euro 12 million).
According to Eric Lefebvre, partner at KPMG, the French finance software market remains in a small fundraising enrolling more in venture capital operations capital development. Of the three barometers published so far, the operations of 0.5 to 1.5 million represent half of fundraising. Since 2011, the average amount raised totaled only 1.7 million euros excluding the operations of over 5 million.
Need a European Nasdaq
