Nearly 1,000 affected flights in the Washington area Sunday. This is the result of a computer failure probably caused by an update poorly controlled, according to the federal agency of American aviation (FAA Federal Aviation Administration). The latter believes that the bug could be related to upgrade the system managing the high altitude radar located in Leesburg (Virginia). Expected to provide new functionality to air traffic controllers, this update has since been uninstalled; a flashback that appears to have been sufficient to restore service. The bug caused delays (492) and cancellations (476) flights in shambles and mainly affected the Washington airports Baltimore.
