This is a Facebook engineer who has developed an artificial intelligence able to do it.
It is often said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But much research has put forward the idea that there was indeed a kind of average beauty on which people agree in different cultures. Photo of a man has been altered by such designers from 19 countries to make them resemble the beauty standards identified by researchers.
Based on this research, a science became team manager at Facebook, Tommer Leyvand, has developed software to beautify the human faces in photographs, reports the magazine Nautilus. The software swallows clichés submitted to him, and cut off a little skin by it, enlarges eyes a little, refines or thickens the nose.
“To create the software , says the article, team Leyvand used research by another group, in which 68 men and women 25 to 40, came from Israel and Germany had to choose the most beautiful faces among 92 faces of women and 33 men faces. From these winners portraits, Leyvand and colleagues measured 84 points on each face (plotting the eye for example, eyebrows, eyes, lips, nose, and limitations of the face) to create an artificial intelligence note that can consistently and smiliaire human appreciations, beauty. During the beautification process, the algorithm examines 234 face boundaries, and based on pre-established steps, made the necessary adjustments “
Chip Rowe the author of the article Nautilus, spent her face through the mill of this software. We’ll let you see the result.
Note that the tool has found the perfect actor James Franco, who have nothing to add, but has instead reduced the lips of a photo actress Brigitte Bardot (younger). So, the secret of beauty have not yet been completely drilled through technology.
