Gfi Informatique has acquired the entire share capital and voting rights of the publisher / integrator Business Document, specializing as its name suggests in the production and management of documents. Business Document realizes a turnover of around 10 million euros, mainly in France but also abroad (Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Canada, Germany, Spain and Mexico), a market considered to be very promising. The workforce has about fifty people, including more than 25% in research and development.
The financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed. Precise Gfi in a statement that the profitability of business document is in line with other software activities of the group.
Business Document is consolidated in the Gfi Informatique accounts since 1 September.
