Project Ascension unique software for Steam, Origin and Uplay – Clubic

A little crazy, the Ascension Project proposes to collect accounts Steam, Origin and Uplay players under a single interface.

They are eighteen. Eighteen independent developers obviously anxious to make life easier for players, promoters of the Project Ascension currently working with a single platform, a unified client, to gather under one banner the Steam accounts Origin and Uplay PC players.

For now, we do not have much information on the operation of the thing, but the Project Ascension seems advanced enough its creators are considering launching an open beta in autumn 2015. Even better, they offer already a mock video of the interface of their tool.

The project is open source and, better, they even encourage curious to discover their GitHub which should however remain empty yet a little while. On a more technical level, Project Ascension is developed in C ++ and should be functional on Windows, Mac and Linux.

There is no question of replacing the Steam client, Origin and Uplay which will also always necessary to buy the games and manage DRM. However, Project Ascension is to compile toy libraries and easier access to news each service.

Further information will likely be added soon on the official website of the project. Note however that it is for the time being no mention of the GOG platform, a service that has yet booming since the release of the The Witcher 3 .
