A new version for the software Orebat – Batiactu

The French Building Federation has unveiled a new version of its software dedicated to energy renovation. This version is geared towards collective housing.

After Orebat MI for “Houses”, the French Building Federation (FFB) launched Orebat Collective, a new version of its software energy renovation. The latter, especially thought for condominiums, designed for entrepreneurs and skilled craftsmen RGE. FFB states: “ This tool is part of a comprehensive renovation and allows professionals to provide relevant advice to their clients and recommend the most effective work “.

The software was developed by the Scientific and Technical Committee on Climate industries (Costic) at the request of the FFB. Calculation engine takes into account user behavior depending on climatic conditions of the place, the actual instructions for heating and hot water, intermittency and duration of the heating season. All these parameters are used to evaluate the energy impact of renovations with good reliability. The desired gap is less than 10%. It is also possible to perform a calculation in the prescribed method “TH-C-E ex” is required in the case of an application for Eco-PTZ in overall energy performance option.

Orebat is used in three stages: first an estimate of energy consumption before work, then a simulation of the work planned with their performance. Finally, an intervention report is issued to the customer, which includes an estimate of the expected energy savings. The tool works in Excel (versions 2007, 2010 or 2013) but is not compatible with Macs and tablets. It is available from the departmental federations.
