Software: Tech becomes Afdel in France – Silicon

Born in 2005 from the initiative of a few editors (Cegid, Dassault Systems, Microsoft, Berger-Levrault, EasyVista …) who did not feel well represented by Syntec Numérique ( then Syntec Informatique), the French association of software publishers (Afdel) celebrates its tenth anniversary this evening. Meanwhile, the name of this lobby was also extended to include the editors of Internet solutions without its acronym not be amended. This time the break is more brutal since the association counts 400 members , 80% of SMEs and start-ups, has decided to rename “Tech in France ».
