Volkswagen eventually rule, “after a thorough investigation,” as other types of diesel engines have been equipped with the faker software, announced the automotive group Thursday. The manufacturer had previously announced conduct additional tests on a second type of diesel engine, newest, EA28 engine, suspected for a time to have also been equipped with the fraudulent software.
The group based in Wolfsburg confirms that only the diesel engine model EA189 is concerned with fraud emission tests.
